Innovative dewatering solution for south coast housing development

Project Dewatering (PDL) was able to resolve a number of challenging dewatering issues on this deep utility connection project at a major housing development on the south coast. Once again PDL use innovative dewatering solutions to add value for the client.

Whilst a traditional well point system would have been employed to achieve dewatering of the site works, the costs for installing the closely spaced well points, would have been cost prohibitive. We were instead able to propose an alternative approach with fewer large diameter wells.

Well points could be pumped at greater flow rates to achieve greater efficiency and a more cost-effective end result, by offering significant savings in drilling costs.

We were able to resolve a number of challenging dewatering issues on this deep utility connection project at a major housing development on the south coast.

The dewatering system installed on the site helped achieve the dewatering objectives on time and on budget.
