Work completed on open loop ground source energy well array installation

Working in partnership with the drilling division of our parent company, Hölscher Wasserbau, Project Dewatering (PDL) has successfully completed this prestigious central London project.

The installation of two abstraction and two reinjection wells to 185m bgl, forming the in ground element of the open loop ground source energy system, was undertaken using one of our in-house reverse circulation drilling rigs.

This drilling method, which is not traditionally available in the UK, provides a more permeable well in comparison to conventional direct circulation drilling.
